Enable Optimizations for Windowed Games

This tweak allows you to enable or disable optimizations for windowed games.

If a check mark is set, optimizations for windowed games are enabled. If a check mark is removed, optimizations for windowed games are disabled.

Any game or app that doesn’t cover the entire screen of your monitor and runs in a window is called a windowed game or app. Optimizations for windowed games will allow users to improve performance for DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 windowed games (if the game is compatible) by using a new flip-model presentation instead of the legacy blt-model presentation. This results in lower frame latency and lets you use other newer gaming features including Auto HDR, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) (for displays that support it). If you want to enable or disable optimizations for windowed games, you can do it using the "Enable Optimizations for Windowed Games" setting of the Red Button program.
