Disable Windows Media Player Recent Files List

This feature allows you to disable or enable recent files list in Windows Media Player.

Windows Media Player (WMP) is a standard media player and media library application developed by Microsoft that is used for playing audio, video and viewing images on computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system.

If a check mark is set, recent files list in WMP is disabled. If a check mark is removed, recent files list in WMP is enabled.

By default, recent files list in WMP is enabled.

WMP keeps a list of recently played files. Some users prefer to stop WMP from doing this for privacy reasons. If you also want to prevent WMP from listing your most recently played files, you can do it using the "Disable Windows Media Player Recent Files List" setting of the Red Button program.
