Disable AutoRun of CD/DVD
This feature allows you to disable or enable autorun of CD/DVD.
If a check mark is set, autorun of CD/DVD is disabled. If a check mark is removed, autorun of CD/DVD is enabled.
By default Windows will run a default application when a new disk is inserted into your CD/DVD ROM drive. Autorun can be a useful thing but it can also be quite dangerous, because of the easy nature to which a CD/DVD drive can be infected with malware. This feature allows to stop applications from auto launching when you insert a CD-ROM disc into your drive. If autoplay is disabled, no actions are taken with a CD or DVD until you tell the computer what to do with the CD or DVD.
