The golden rule of using Red Button

Red Button is a tool. Proper use of the Red Button program can significantly improve the performance of the operating system and make it more pleasant and secure. But incorrect use of Red Button, like any other tool, can lead to the opposite result. To make your experience with the program as positive as possible, we strongly recommend that you follow the simple rule.

It means that you should not choose and use the features that you do not understand. Note that by default, none of the Red Button features are selected. When you click on the red button, only those settings that you chose, if any, are applied.

The exception to this rule is the use of Red Button for experimental purposes. But in this case, you must understand and take the risk.
