Registry Cleaner: Application Compatibility Cache

This feature will allow you to reset the Application Compatibility Cache. The system will automatically recreate the cache after this.

The Application Compatibility Cache ("AppCompatCache"), also known as the Shim Cache, is used by the Windows operating system to identify application compatibility issues, so legacy applications can run on the newer version of the operating system. Windows looks at AppCompatCache to determine if modules require shimming for compatibility. The cache data tracks file name, size, last modified time, and last execution time (depending on OS).

OS: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10
